This proof of concept video by Dan Eckman and his team is just what we needed to start the week off right. The project is a coming of age tale in the tradition of “Back to the Future” and the filmmakers are seeking funding for the feature film version. We look forward to seeing more!
Ethereal act, Savage Sister, are making moves…Huge Moves. The recently released 7″ is a must listen if you dig ambient shoegaze. The three track EP is available at a name your price option and is a great addition to your “travel by night” playlist.
Chicago based Axons has recently released a followup to Inter Vivos. This time around we’re seeing a little more chip tune influence and we definitely dig that. Unmanageable is full of minimalistic beats and chilled vocals so be sure to grab the album as it’s available at a name your price option!
Isosine has created yet another extremely catchy track with his latest mashup. Combining two well received yet extremely different artists is no easy task. The bright and poppy Taylor Swift and the dark and gritty Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) may be oil and water for genres sake, but when stirred together and mixed with a little Isosine magic, you get a juggernaut of a song.
Boring Pools is the latest release from Rennes based We Only Said. The mostly downtempo album holds its water well with layered guitar work and dialed in drums. Great for times when you want to just sit back and listen to music rather than having something on in the background. Grab the album and a good pair of headphones to see what we’re talking about.
